Announcements
Announcements are available to all signed-in users. The bell in the sidebar opens platform announcements and its badge shows how many are unread for your account.
Read announcements
Open the bell to see the latest announcements first. Each message has a title, publication date and text, and may include a Learn more link that opens in a new tab. Which announcements you see can depend on your current team, for example its release level (Dev, Alpha, Beta, GA) or your role in it. Outside a team, only general announcements are shown. Title and text follow your app language. The read state is personal.
Scroll within the list to read older messages. The header stays visible while you scroll. The list refreshes when opened, when you return to the window, and every minute while active. If loading fails, choose Try again.
Mark as read
- Opening the bell or following a link does not mark a message as read. Choose Mark as read on the message to acknowledge it.
- Mark all read acknowledges the unread announcements currently shown in the list. Messages published afterwards stay unread.
- Your read state follows your account across teams and devices. Other users keep their own unread counts.
- Announcements published before your account was created appear as already-read history.
An explicit acknowledgement stores your user ID, the announcement ID and its confirmation time. It does not measure how long you read the text.
Corrections and withdrawals
Platform operators can correct or withdraw announcements, and some announcements are only shown for a limited time. Corrections retain your read state and the original publication date. Withdrawn or expired messages disappear from the list and unread count after the next refresh.
